Doc,
OSX, like Unix, uses 'dot' files (files with file name starting with ".") to store metadata. I think TM should ignore these files - right now I get error messages if my audio folder has a 'dot' file in it. |

Gimmie a listing of said folder.
Do you have control over what is in that folder?
In UNIX, the OS doesn't stick those files there without your permission. _________________ --

Google is your friend (I know, I know it's my fault for using a Mac):
Quote: | Under Macintosh OSX .DS_Store holds the information which controls the way a folder will be opened; i.e., the shape and size of the window, the position of the window on the desktop and whether file, folder or icon view has been selected. If you were to delete the .DS_Store the folder would revert to the system default next time it is opened and a new blank .DS_Store would appear (invisibly). |

So is that the only one I need to worry about? _________________ --

AFAIK. That's the one that Mac users get in trouble for littering all over network shares. |
