Subscriptions (automatically recurring payments) are much easier for me to maintain than manual payments.

I'm thinking about creating a special password forum for those who have the automatic subscription set up where the password for the next three months would always be posted.

Thoughts? I'm really curious to know if that would get any of you manual payers to switch to automatic payments...

i would switch to auto payments if i got an automatic email each month that sent me the password as soon as the paypay transfer cleared. that's the way to go--making it so i don't even have to visit the site to get the password is a great carrot. doable?

Well,

The original plan when this all started was to send the password out via email.

Then I found out there were limitations that my service provider had on how many emails addresses I could send to in a given time period.

So, I reverted to the secure forum.

Could you work it somehow for DNTM to seek out the license itself?

Ah - forget that idea -would mean an internet connection would need to be available everytime you booted...

Unless it only looked once a month...

Making the simple complicated.

BTW - 3 months of passwords at once? I'd just forget them and have to log on to the forum anyway each time it expired - unless I could put all three in at one time, and let the software pick and choose....

The passwords are date based... so you would only have to put in the password that expires at the end of the 3 month period, not 3 different passwords.

a) Too risky to depend on internet connections to be up.
b) There are too many cases where people need to use the software without an internet connection.
