|
|
Working on payout schedules for v3. After I have these functional, the beta will be ready.
In v3, you'll be able to select the "criteria" for determining which payout tier to use.
In v2, it was simply "# of buy-ins".
In v3, you can select from:
- # of buy-ins
- # of buy-ins + add-ons
- # of buy-ins + rebuys
- # of buy-ins + add-ons + rebuys
This will be the same criteria used by the "spots to pay calculator".
So, now, if you wanted, you could set up a payout schedule that pays more spots if people rebuy. _________________ --

Okay okay okay.
Did some work. Payout schedules are going to be cool.
A payout schedule consists of the following:
- Bounty data (what you know as global bounties in v2)
- Payout rounding information
- A set of payout tiers
- The criteria that selects a payout tier (# of buy-ins, # of buy-ins + add-ons, # of buy-ins + rebuys or # of buy-ins + add-ons + rebuys
For each tier, you define:
- The lower criteria limit
- The upper criteria limit
- The method which chooses the # of spots to pay (manual, % of # of buy-ins, % of # of buy-ins + add-ons, % of # of buy-ins + rebuys or % of # of buy-ins + add-ons + rebuys)
- The method which distributes the percentage weightings (manual, linear or exponential)
- The fixed payouts or non-cash payouts. The number of spots allowed for these will always be equal to the tier's lower criteria limit.
And now, the bonus...
The payout preview is coming back. You remember it from v1.
Within a payout schedule, you'll be able to say, "What will the schedule look like if the criteria is X" and see it in a preview! Whee! _________________ --
