I'm playing at Canterbury.

As people fold their cards, the dealer is looking at them before adding them to the muck. This is *before* the hand is complete.

What do you think of this?

Regardless of whether or not it is "allowed" I'd be saying something if a dealer was looking at my mucked cards.

I was playing a "charity" event once and told the dealer who sneaked a peek at my folded hand, "If I'd have wanted anyone to see those I'd have turned them face-up."

At a "home game" a PLAYING dealer was looking at the mucked cards, until I shot over, "You know, if you're going to look at everyone's hand you should be turning your cards face-up when you fold."

I've looked before, but only after the hand and at the request of the player... I guess they wanted me to feel their pain.

Misery loves company.
