I use my computer to display TD on all the TV's in my house through the coax cable. Basically I run RCA jacks to a VCR...Convert the signal to
Coax. Works slick...BUT...it's hard to read all the little font size. Works great for the main display but it's impossible to make the admin changes while on the TV. When I switch the computer to display on the TV I loose the computer monitor....
Is it possible to link a laptop in to my main machine and do all the admin stuff from the laptop...like a remote terminal? |

If I understand your question you should be able to use the server/client function and just display on your main system(I take it you were talking about a computer)being the client and manage on your laptop being the server.......if you have a network in your home that is......(with the low cost of WiFi access points and cards this isn't an expensive proposition anymore).....I've done it with the more recent version and it work well.... |
