Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but this came up in tongihts game. There's an ace-high flush in the flop, something like A-K-7-6-4 of hearts (yeah, this actually happend). Two players stayed in all the way to the river with a heart down, one with a 10, the other with a 5, so in essence, they both made their flush on the turn. My contention is they split the pot - an Ace High flush is an Ace high flush. Others at the table, especially the player with the 10 insisted that the pot goes to him, since he has the higher hold card. I was out of the hand, so it didn't bother me either way.

So who's right?

I'm afraid the "others" were right, Max. Best 5-card hand wins, which was A-K-10-7-6, beating his opponent's A-K-7-6-5.

Well shoot. The table split their opinions as well, but it didn't seem to affect the game.

Next time, we'll clarify upfront.

Thanks!
