I've been at the "Set of Mop Sqeezers" level for some time now... when do I get to the POCKET MULLETS level?

I actually did that once.... gee Doc.... thanks for reminding me... LOL Very Happy

Had Q-Js preflop folded around to me in MP played a std raise.... Button moves all-in & BB re-raises all in... facing two all-ins natually I mucked it.

Oh well... it happens. Very Happy

I've done that a TON of times... most of the time I try to forget what I folded if I fold... last thing I need to so is second guess myself after I make a good fold. Naturally I watch the rest of the action, the other players, and the board after I fold, to try an pick up as much information as possible, but if you knew what the community cards were going to be ahead of time, you might as well play with only one round of betting. As long as you didn't fold the straight flush after you had already made it, you didn't fold the straight flush, you only folded suited connectors, and it was a good fold.

Oh I realize at the time it was a good fold... it's like I tell the novices that ask me for advice... "Many times it's not did you win the pot but rather, did you play the hand correctly?"

But sometimes you just have to say.... DAMN!!! LOL Very Happy

I actually prefer to remember hands that I've folded preflop (semi-decent ones anyway - not rags) and then take note of the acton and who played what and how. I always look for a read on other players.

It's just more information you can use later on as to whether or not you are likely ahead/behind them in a hand against them later on.
