Just a little suggestion. I live in Europe. I don't play for $, but not even for €, but believe me: it's bettere to parameter in the preferences the value symbol.
I'd like to see my € symbol in the software

Could be that you need to run the .bat file instead of the .jar file.
There is an anomoly (sp?) on some systems... that the doc can explain better than me!!!
On two desktop systems I had no probs, but on my laptop $ signs were displayed instead of £s.
Running the app via the .bat file cured this problem.

I upgraded to java 1.5 but "problem" still remane.
Doesn't matter. We pretend to be in the magic casino in the USA.
