Rio Rodent

I'm trying to get hold of a wav file with Mike Sexton announcing, "The price of poker just went up, Vince"... from the WPT tv shows.

It's a line he uses at least once in most shows I've seen... unfortunately I don't have any easy way of getting it from tv/video onto a PC.

Now if some good soul had any of these shows on DVD... it would probably be quite simple to 'suck out'* the relevant bit.

Anyone help??

for the postmodernists amoung us, I have mixed a clip that combines the WSOP riff with Sexton. the music plays, then sexton says "the price of poker..." and then the music tags. i find it better than just the quote. PM me if you want it.

just as a point of clarity (and, I suppose, pride), many of the sounds in LARounders post are from my collection. Some I designed and mixed myself. his bundle includes both the WSOP sound, the Sexton sound, and my mix of the two previously mentioned in this thread.

I am happy to share them with the group, and thank the Rounder for posting them. However, I will kick his ass in our next tourney. wav
