BTW - I've found the cards to be against me on UB. For some reason, I always get caught on the river with some schmoo that decides to call my All-In with a 9-2, and then miraculously hits a flush, or a straight, or a full house - it's happen three times so far. I think it's rigged!

I too have had bad luck on UB and this will probably be my last one on there, but go ahead and count me in for this one, I mean ALL-IN!

So are we ready? Man I hope I don't go out early!!! And if anyone stays in with a 9-2 suited and beats my A-A, I'll be really mad!!! Evil or Very Mad

I hate to tell you this Max, but all I'm going to play are 9-2, 7-2, J-4, and Q-3, so be prepared for a bad beat... Why not, everybody else seems to win with those cards.

Ain't that the truth! I have had a terrible last couple of days on UB. Good thing it's only play chips...

Great! Maybe I'll start playing 9-2 all the time too. Why the hell not?

Hell guys, I see people playing rags and winning in my home game all the time. When the loser is a strong player, he always says it's bullshit luck, or the winner was too inexperienced to know better.

On another note, I was home tuesday during the day and played in 8 6-player SnG's on UB. I won 5, got second in 2 and came in 4th in 1. I can see you're envious. I'll take it easy tonight... Cool

I thought I was going to have to pass on this tonight. I went to UB and the account balance was gone. I contacted them and they sent me an excel spreadsheet of everything I had done there since I joined. It said the account balance was there, so no worries...I'm in for tonight.

6 players. It's a go. We're starting at 10pm US-Eastern with or without you.

Well here I am, the first out of the Inaugural Dr. Neau Invitational. Didn't even get in the money. I really thought I had the hand with the J6c for the flush until the good Doctor turned a Qc for the bigger flush.

Oh well, it was short and sweet. I wish we could do this again soon.

Some things to consider:

Adjusting the payouts, already mentioned
Let observers chat, I was going to stay and heckle you guys, but couldn't

Laters guys, and I want to be the first to sign up for DNI2.

I know my 1st place finish will be used to finance other DNI's. Thanks for setting everything up Jeff! I had a fun 75 minutes of taking your money!

1st: MaxPower ($9.00)
2nd: Dr Neau ($7.50)
3rd: Seitz333 ($6.00)
4th: Chloes Dad ($4.50)
5th: wineguy ($3.00)
6th: bigdaddy ($-)

Looks like UB defaults to paying a minimum of 5 spots for non-SnG tournaments...which was kinda silly: Only 1 player didn't get paid, 3 made a profit and the winner didn't even double up. Oh, well. We play for pride.

Noteable moments:
...Dr Neau slowplays wineguy and suckers him into betting into Dr's 7's full, knocking wineguy pretty low...bigdaddy slow plays his flush on the turn, letting Dr Neau get a higher flush on the river - Dr Neau warns bigdaddy, "You'd better have it" - bigdaddy responds, "I do", calls and gets eliminated...Chloes Dad flushes wineguy out of the tournament...MaxPower eliminates Chloes Dad...Seitz and Dr Neau bore MaxPower with musical instrument discussion...Dr Neau eliminates Seitz via a questionable draw call on the turn that turns into a flush on the river...MaxPower eliminates Dr Neau to win the tournament.

Thanks to those who played.

Have to admit, I didn't exactly have my poker face on when I got a full house on the river...then when the good doctor's FH beat mine I yelled so loud my wife thought the kids would wake up. Thanks everyone, that was a good time! I'll definitely play the next one.

Hey Doc, why don't you look into a reoccuring tournament like I have seen at UB? I think there's a group called brainsturgeon that has a weekly thing.

I signed up for another Neteller account (using a different email address) and this time I was able to transfer some money in. I'll be there for the next one too.
