Is there any way to take a "rake" from an individule payout? Our league consists of several satalite events leading up to the championship tournement and the winner of a satalite gets a freeroll for the championship.
Rather than pay for this from the total prize pool, I would like the amount deducted from the 1st place payout (just like Vegas satalites). _________________ Lifes too short to play with cheap chips |

The way it is, the rake is the way to go.
For your satellite, take a rake equivalent to the championship entry amount. In the prize pool, create a text prize called something like "Championship Chip".
In the championship, you'll have 2 types of buy-ins:
- $0 buy-in for those using a chip
- $500 buy-in (for a lesser amount if you are small-time) for wildcards
Also in the championship, you'll have an "added prize" equal to the sum of the satellite chip values.
Will this not work? _________________ --

That will work and is pretty much what I do now. _________________ Lifes too short to play with cheap chips |
