Hi,
I may well be missing something but....
I have used V3 on and off, and sometimes struggle to remember how to do certain tasks when I come back to use it after a lay off.
In this case I am trying to create a new theme for my tournament based on one that i ran a while ago. The old theme has loads of stuff that I want to keep, but i want to change the backgrounds on the play, break , post and pre screens.
I have created new consoles, with the images that I want as background, and I have copied the old theme to a new name ready to edit it as required. But...I can't find a way to edit the themes.
What obvious thing or things am i doing wrong? |

It's activated.
I am on the component library tab, click on console themes and my new theme is marked as active. I select the theme in th elist and I see that the details of the theme are displayed on the right.
the Dashboards section of the details is blank.
So how do I edit my new theme? |

OK, got it I think.
So, for anyone else suffering the same difficulty:
Click on the Component Library Tab, and select the Connsole themes.
Select the theme that will be that base for the new one
Click copy, and enter a name for the new theme.
Select the new theme and activate it.
Select the console tab
Click on Dashboard Map on the left
Select each of the consoles used on the old theme, and change them to the new consoles.
Done. |

Right.
I initially was going to have a separate editor for themes, but then I thought about running a tournament. If someone wants to edit the theme on the fly, should they really have to bring up a separate editor? Why not just let them edit it in place.
And I can't ever think of a case where you'd want to have one theme active and edit a separate one. _________________ --
