Is there an easy way to facilitate a chop? I guess the only way is to edit the payout schedule, but that doesn't modify the payout component used does it?

This is dangerous, but I'm wondering if you can "eliminate" the last two players at the same time? Of course that probably couldn't work if you are tracking eliminators, but if you're not...? We've chopped a few times, but since we don't run a league it doesn't really matter to us.

I just ran a test tourney and the double elimination deal split the first place money in half and showed the tie on the payouts. This seemed to be to simple to be the answer for your situation, but I thought I'd try the suggestion. Sorry if you already knew this.

Chops are still on the list.

You'll be able to enter a chop to override the payout schedule. The way it'll work is you'll specify a chop against two or more spots.

Example:
Let's say the prize pool is $1,000. 1st is supposed to get 50% and 2nd is supposed to get 25%. So, total that those two spots should get is $750.

You want them to split the money 50/50, but retain their positions. You'll create a chop against 1st and 2nd with 50% for each.

well, you don't want them to tie. That's screws everything up.

A common occurance in our game is that we pay top 4, but come bubble time often a 'save' will be announced for the 5 place to get their money back, and the rest will be distributed using the normal distribution method. Just keep this in mind, right now I have to edit the distribution on the fly, add one more fixed payout, etc.
