The Avg Chip Stack component is returning total chips in play as opposed to the average stack per player. |

You sure? I'm using it in a tourney right now and it is working fine.
Anyone else see the problem? _________________ --

The error may have been on my end as I cannot seem to re-create the problem now.
Nonetheless, here's what happened: I had 16 players in a T1000 tourney. I was using the LDPS theme that I downloaded from the console theme library (very cool theme by the way). I selected all players from the roster and bought them all in at once. The console displayed 16,000 in the AVG Stack window, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I then shut down and restarted and the app. When I opened the tourney and console, it still showed 16,000 as the AVG stack. I then moved the player status backwards for all players (i.e. removed their buy-ins) before buying each player in individually. Suddenly, the program displayed 1,000 as the AVG chip stack and everything was fine.
I cannot re-create the problem now. So maybe I just did something stupid. I'll let you know if it pops back up again. |

we've had the same issue the last 2 tourneys. can't remember if it was returning total chips or just the wrong amount, but it was egregiously incorrect. i am basically using the core console designs. |

I noticed in my tourney last night that the AVG Chip Stack was acting weird as well. We had 16 people buy-in for T5000. After some had busted out I noticed that the AVG Chip Stack was reporting something like $6452.29. ??? _________________ Lifes too short to play with cheap chips |

You sure it wasn't 6,153.85 or 6,666.67? _________________ --

Well, keep in mind that "average chip stack" is "total chips in play" / "remaining player count".
If 16 people buy in for T5000, the total in play is T80000.
With 16 left, the average is T5000
With 15 left, the average is T5333
With 14 left, the average is T5714
etc.
That's what's supposed to happen... _________________ --

Sure, that exactly what I would expect. Just surprised that the number included the change. Is there a rounding parameter that I missed somewhere? _________________ Lifes too short to play with cheap chips |

Note: You have the ability with that component to control the display of the fractions.
For the next release, the core consoles will not show fractions for average stack. _________________ --

Forgot to post this last night.
I figured this out right after pushing out 3.0.7. The average stack issue is fixed for 3.0.8.
Here's what's happening:
When you initially load a tournament, the console data was getting set so that the average stack reflected the total chips in play. Any operations (eliminations/chip purchases) you took after that should've resulted in the correct stack being displayed.
So, you would've seen this if:
- You set up your tournament in advance and bought all the players in, then restarted the app (and reloaded your tournament) right before you started playing. _________________ --
