The latest release of beta 4 is available. I give you v3 beta 4.4.
Where to get it
You can download the current release here:
http://drneau.com/v3Betas/DrNTMv3beta4.4.zip
When I post beta4.5, it will have a new link...FYI
Those users paying for access can contact me directly regarding licensing concerns beyond the beta period.
Can I use this for real??
I actually have been for 6 months...
The underlying architecture is to the point where I'm confident that any data you save from this version will work fine with future versions, so I'd say feel free to start using this for real tournaments....just remember that it is still beta software.
Note: If you've been using the previous betas, you'll get some warnings when you open your repository for the first time. I've added some new data attributes for new features and the app is just letting you know that it didn't find attributes it expected. Review the warnings, but go ahead and load the components.
My intention is that there is no beta 5...we're going GA next.
What's new since beta 4.3:
Implemented two different image display options for dashboard background: "Maintain proportions" and "fill"
Implemented two image display options for image components: "Maintain proportions" and "fill"
Fixed issue with image components ignoring component margins
Gave parents to all the design rule dialogs so they don't get lost
Resigned the chip purchase option dialogs so they all fit on 800x600
Repository now gets a file noting the buildstamp of the version that last opened it (for debugging)
Player created on roster is now selected after creation
Player(s) added to player database are now selected after creation
NewComponentSelectionDialog now has a parent (so it won't get lost on the screen)
CardSelectorDialog now has a parent (so it won't get lost on the screen)
Removed the chunky options from the horizontal marquee…I have the continuous performing well now
Removed the chunky options from the vertical marquee…I have the continuous performing well now
Fixed warning message about full screen mode to reference the correct mode
Implemented a new chip consolidation wizard with persistent parameters
Changed the way application preferences are persisted
Fixed the simple alert table so that it doesn't rescroll and lose focus when something changes
Altered the alert mechanism so that new betting level event doesn't fire on tournament start
Added an attribute to alert to let you indicate whether or not a message should display (vs just audio)
Fixed the time-based alert table so that it doesn't rescroll and lose focus when something changes
Implemented a "Break Ended" alert
Added toggle to "Set Level" dialog to let you suppress or allow alerts when setting the level manually _________________ --

Does this mean no enhancements/new features before 3.1?
Thanks for these in particular:
