I know that the build date of the current release is built into the help menu, but it might be time to start giving each release a version number in order to keep track of them. I've been doing this myself every time i get a new version (I think I'm up to 15 or so), but maybe, Jeff, its time for something official. ? |

requires me to launch the app to read the menu, whereas "Tournament Manager 2.1.6" makes it apparent in the Finder. |

There's a file in the install folder called buildtime. It doesn't do anything but it has a timestamp. That's what I use if I don't want to start the app. _________________ JumperJeff

I think it may be a good idea in a way so that when you go to check for an update, it would tell you the version you are looking at be fore you download it.
AS far I myself, I put a poker chipshortcut on the desktop and called it TM v3.8 for the date of March 8. |

If you want to check for an update, you can check the bulletin board forum.
I'm trying to avoid having to update the website everytime I put a new release out there. _________________ --

Amen to that! I think you have a really good system. Not so much from a "business model" standpoint, but from a "i am only human and still a guy who wants to have a life and enjoy a game from time to time" approach. Thanks for having such a kick @ss program and putting it out there for all of us. Be the normal guy, you deserve it! |
