The other night at our home game, some of the early outers from the tourney were playing a cash game waiting for the next tourney. Here is how this one played out (not my hand, I was actually in the tourney and got up to watch it after someone called out the flush and Royal Flush possibilties).

I missed the early betting, but the pot held about 12 BB with 3 players in the hand. Flop comes down A K J, all diamonds. 1st to act checks, 2nd bets 1/4 pot, 3rd calls, 1st calls.

Turn is Qd. 1st checks, 2nd (who had actually just made the RF), checks. 3rd bets about 1/2 the pot (he was holding the 8D for the flush). 1st folds, 2nd smooth calls.

River is an insignificant 7c. RF guy checks. 2nd player bets about 2/3 pot, RF FINALLY raises min and gets called.

I couldn't believe that he had checked his RF twice, but it was beautiful to watch as the faces fell to the floor. No one had a camera at the time, but we recreated it a little later so we can post it at the next tourney.
