I'm getting close to the next beta.

This one will have full component editing facilities.

You'll be able to play with creating a full detailed tournament, but it won't be runnable yet.

You'll be able to create (and hopefully run) a simple tournament.

Creation of a simple tournament includes:
- Specifying the core attributes (name, start time, game, etc.)
- Creating the chip purchase options (buy-in, add-on rebuy) and specifying how many of each have been purchased.
- Creating the chip case. This can be from scratch or by importing a component.
- Creating the betting schedule (including fixed breaks...that's the logic I'm working on right now). This can be from scratch or by importing a component.
- Creating the payout schedule. (scratch/import)
- Creating the expense report (expenses can be raked automatically, if you want)
- Creating the checklist (scratch/import)
- Specifying console settings
- Reviewing the cash flow report (where all money comes from and goes)
...and then you should be able to run this.

Once that's working, it's to work on filling out the remainder of the detailed tournament. That has a roster, seating chart and side bet management.

Will there be an upgrade in system requirements for v3?

Looking for a good reason to do some shopping...

Unfortunately for you, the system requirements will be less...

Java 1.5, though.

Will this beta have the networking component? Very important to me since I run tables in separate rooms.

Ahh...you know I would have gone through several trail runs before I actually used it...I would have probably written up an ATP to test every component I use before I put it in a live environment Very Happy
