The main start panel (where you pick client or server) will have two new non-intrusive features on it:

- "News": I'm putting a file on drneau.com with news flashes...things like "new release posted on XX/XX/XXXX". When the app starts it will go grab these items and display them for you in the startup panel. The thread for getting the items will kick off in the background so as not to slow down the initialization of the app. If you don't have a network connection, then you simply won't see any news appear.

- "Tips": A random tip will appear on the main screen each time you start the app. You can ignore it if you want, or you can click on it to get more info. Unlike some of the MS apps, this tip will simply appear in a text area rather than a dialog you have to click on.
