I recently switched to a widescreen laptop, so I went ahead and redid the consoles we've been using in our league. We also for the first time this coming game will be using some different chips, so the redesign also came at a good time for that. The layouts aren't very different on the main screens, only the break screen had a drastic change. I wanted to post them though and see what you guys thought.

Old consoles:

I really dig some of your design elements. But you shouldn't have had to redesign for different-sized monitor, right? The designs scale to the size of the window.

I did the chip case stuff in photoshop first, then just put in as an image. So when the screen became wider, the image stretched and the chip circles became ovals. I could have added more columns in the program and then put something additional on the left side. I had to do a new set of chips though because the game moves around and this month we're not using the Nevada Jacks, so I went ahead and just redid it.

The end of tourney is basically the same console, just scaled like you said.

Those are pretty sweet! There's no way in hell Im that creative to create a masterpiece like that. Would anyone be willing to post their custom consoles for others to download?

Thanks in advance.

I've changed the countdown console since I posted this up. Current one goes with the "less is more" theory.

Fab.

Just a note on v3. bratwurst will be able to export his console theme so that everyone can grab it and use it. The export will include the theme, all related dashboards, images and audios.
