I play solely on UltimateBet.com.
The problem I have is getting too impatient. Something about having chips in front of you in a real game that stops you from making as many stupid calls.
I was into the large low entry tournaments for a while. Played about 20 of them. Finished 2nd twice: Once in a 450 player tournament and once in a 600 player tournament. While those finishes paid off very well ($700 and $400), finishing 11th and 13th (which I've also done) barely gives you your money back...you play 5 hours and double your $5 to $10. Wow.
I've mainly been into the sit-and-gos. However, this last week I'm finding that Omaha ring games are a lot more fun. I think Omaha might be more fun than Hold'em... _________________ --

I feel the same about UB...Are you going to try organizing another invitational tourney for us to play? |

I tried Crazy Pineapple on UB last night. Had a really good time. I think I lost 50 play chips after an hour of playing. I think I'll have to introduce this game to my next poker night. _________________ JumperJeff

Crazy Pinapple is a fun game... essentially Hold 'em with 3 pocket cards. _________________ "Play Like The Pros Play"

After I got my taste of UB for real money, I went back on this weekend to play a no limit $1 + .10 Sit n Go. It was a rough 45 minutes! I was up, then down, and for most of the game, in the middle. But in the end, I started catching some really sweet hands! At one time, my biggest competition at the table asked "do you even have a fold button on your screen?" It was then that I knew I was in their heads, and that the mere sight of my re-raising would make the table fold.
In the end, I came in first - took my $1 and parlayed it into $3 (I think, maybe more?). I looked at it this way - it was the first time a $1 video game actually payed me back!
Now I just have to see if I'm willing to pay more for more of a return... Probably not...

Yeah I just use UB $1 tourneys to take the edge off until I can get a live game.
