|
|
I'd like to be able to devise my seating arrangement prior to the players buying in. Currently seating is only an option for bought in players. If I could seat them prior, then when they show up and buy in, I could say "thank you sir/madam, your at table 2 seat 2.." etc. |

I agree this is a good idea.
Technically not that big a deal to implement.
What I need to worry about is the logic behind the scenes. There's a few places where I assume you need to be active to be sitting at a table. I'd just need to work through those.
Here's what I'm thinking:
- All players are "unseated" unless they are sitting at a table or eliminated.
- The "unseated players" table needs another column for the player's state (expected or active)
- The "unseated players" needs two more buttons/menu items: "select all expected" and "select all active"
- The "expected players" table needs two more columns: "Table" and "Seat". |

Here Here.
Can't you just add a seating assignment generator(so 2 seperate seat generators) to unbought players and have it copy seating positions over on buyin. |

Not to discourage creativity, but what if the player that hasn't bought in is seated, but never arrives? Would that throw your seatting out of whack? |
