When TM is first started, the console displays The Rock. Can that be changed so that it displays another image of my choosing? |

The Rock is mad.
Why on earth would you want to change that? _________________ --

I would like for it to be my league logo. Is it possible to change it, even though it may make The Rock mad? Not to mention the fact that The Rock has been kicked out of a casino, even though it was not its fault........ |

OH......I finally know that you mean "the console".
I thought you meant the startup screen where you choose client or server and could not fathom why someone would care about that. Ha.
I'll add an enhancement. _________________ --

I am exhausting all efforts to get in thouch with the good Doctor. I have been trying to get in touch with him all week. Does anyone have any idea how else I might try getting in touch with him? _________________ "Character is what you have left when you've lost everything you can lose" |

Sorry.
The house was struck by lightning at the end of July, blowing my home computer's ethernet...Getting to this email since then has required going through a browser interface, which in itself isn't bad, but it means I need to be more proactive than I'd become accustomed to when things would just pop into my Inbox and I'd hear a "ding". _________________ --

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope all is well with you, your family, and your home.
About your PC decision, with your experience and knowledge, I bet you could build your own kick-ass computer. And when you finally do get back to full throttle, maybe you might entertain the suggestion of "flashing components" again. _________________ "Get bust livin or get busy dyin. |

Considering you can get a top of the line, high quality component clone for half the price of an average Mac, the decision should be easy. I got myself a Core i7 2600 with 8 Gb of ram, top of the line video card, SSD 80 Gb main HD and 2 TB secondary HD, Blue Ray Burner for 1700 Can$ and that was 6 Months ago. All component are Intel or equal quality, no cheap parts.
You install Windows 7 64 bits and you have nothing to envy any other OS.
Also invest in a good power surge protection bar, they cost next to nothing and should protect you against future lightning strikes. |

HP
I2600 quad core
win7 64bit
8GB ram
1.5TB disk
27" monitor
Old computer actually got hit via the Ethernet jack...power was fine, but would've needed new motherboard _________________ --
