Was testing a standard shootout tournament. The shootout phase 1 plan is 3 tables of 6 players, play down to 2 players per table. Phase 2 is one table of 6, play down to 1. On the seating panel, I had the balancing and consolidation checkboxes checked (didn't know I had then checked during the test).

I ran into some issues.
1. Balancing dialog displayed when the first two people I eliminated were from the same table (balancing max was set to 1).
2. Consolidation dialog displayed when I was down to 12 players.
3. I was able to eliminate more than 4 players on a single table.

Seems like TM is following a traditional standard tournament's seating setup and not the shootout plan.

Well, actually....the balancing and consolidation aren't tied to the shootout plan in any way.

That's something I still plan for the future, but for now in a shootout tournament, you should turn auto-consolidations and balancing off and only consolidate when you are down to the correct number of players.

Actually....why are you balancing in a shootout tournament anyway?

When doing a test tournament, I didn't know I had balancing turned on.
