I was wondering about adding the ability to have blind level times not be in whole minute numbers, for example having a blind level of 17 minutes 30 seconds.

In my tourneys, I start with 20 minute levels and work down to 15 minute levels when there are likely to be a small number of players left. In between the 20 and 15 minute levels, I would like to have a level right in the middle, but it seems as though I have to choose 17 or 18 minutes. It's be nice to have 17:30 levels.

Rejected.

Why?

Convince me that a 16m30s level provides significant value over a 16m or 17m level.

Keeping in mind that that means the column now requires more width on an already display-constrained area.

I don't really need this enhancement anymore for my games, mostly because like you say there isn't a huge difference between a 17m and a 16m level. It would make it feel better if you wanted to go from 20m to 15m and have a level in between that was half, but still not a big deal.

But I don't understand why the timer component would be wider than it is now. The timer starts at 20:00 then counts down seconds by going to 19:59, 19:58, etc. It wouldn't change just because a level started at 17:30 and went to 17:29 next, would it?

More horizontal space required in the betting schedule designer
