Just wanted to give a quick update of where I left off with development before going to bed last night.

I've made a LOT of progress on the 4 round-robin tournament types and feel that the next release will have useable versions of them.

All round-robin tournaments have the following in common:
- The tournament consists of multiple "rounds".
- Each round consists of one or more "matches".
- Each match consists of two or more players that compete in a mini-tournament.

Type #1: Round-Robin Heads-Up
This tournament consists of heads-up matches. Ideally, everyone plays everyone else...but that doesn't need to be the case. It depends on how much time you have. The overriding important rule is that everyone has an equal number of byes (if you have an odd number of players). In the end, players are ranked in finishing order by their match winning percentage. Note that ties in a match are possible if you want that.

The tool supports this type of tournament with the following:
- A match structure panel that displays each round, the matches within it, the status of each match, the status of each round, the list of byes, the ability to drag and drop players between matches and the bye list, the ability to easily set the result for a match, the ability to lock rounds (to prevent accidental editing
- A wizard to automatically create the match structure
- Results/standings that are based on winning percentage
- Automatic seating chart based on the active round
- A participant status panel showing the overall record for each player
- A matchup matrix panel displaying how many times each player has played every other player, highlighting the areas that need attention
- A checker that will find problems with your matchup structure. It will warn you about inequitable byes, incomplete rounds found before complete rounds, etc.

Here's a picture of the match structure panel (on the left) with the matchup matrix (on the right):

Type #2: Round-Robin Heads-Up Fixed Elimination
Just like a round-robin tournament, except that players are automatically eliminated after a set number of losses. This requires some extra support above the plain round-robin to ensure that players are eliminated as needed and don't participate in matches after they are eliminated. Here's a screenshot of that:

Type #3: Round-Robin Multi-Player
Round-Robin Multi-Player works like a series of sit-and-gos. You accumulate points based on your finish in each match. In the end, the person with the most points wins.
Points will be distributed in a match as follows:
2-player match: 100 points for 1st, 0 points for 2nd
3-player match: 100 points for 1st, 25 points for 2nd, 0 points for 3rd
4-player match: 100 points, 44 points, 11 points, 0 points
5-player match: 100, 57, 25, 6, 0
6-player match: 100, 64, 36, 16, 4, 0
7-player match: 100, 69, 44, 25, 11, 3, 0
8-player match: 100, 73, 51, 33, 18, 8, 2, 0
9-player match: 100, 77, 56, 39, 25, 14, 6, 2, 0
...and so on
YOU decide the size matches you want and the number of rounds you want. The wizard will automatically create the structure based on your needs. Or, you could go round by round with a ladder system. It's up to you.
Example, you have 20 players. You could have 2 10-player matches each round, you could have 2 7-player matches + 1 6-player match, you could have 4 5-player matches, you could have 5 4-player matches.
In the end, players are ranked by points.

Type #4: Round-Robin Multi-Player Fixed Elimination
This now needs a new name. It's just like a multi-player match (with the same point structure), except that the water keeps rising throughout the tournament. You decide WHEN the water starts rising. Once the water starts rising, it rises by 75-points per round. Once someone goes under water, they are eliminated.
In the end, players are ranked by points.

A common setup might be that the threshold stays set at 0 for the first two rounds and begins rising in round 3. At the end of round 3, anyone with less than 75 points is out. At the end of round 4, anyone with less than 150 points is out...and so on until there is only one player remaining.

I'm leaning toward calling "Round-Robin Multi-Player" "Sit-and-Go Series"
