I was looking at the networking setup today, and had a thought... How tough would it be to modify the client side entry to allow alternate network addressing to be used? For example, on a LAN, where the machine name will not change, but the IP address may, it could be useful to use the machine name instead of the IP. Also, and this is the big one, it would be really handy (not to mention cool) for a geek like me to be able to use a domain address to setup a client to my server from wherever I happen to be. For me it would be a simple matter of exposing the proper port, and using name.domain.com as the server address.

Just an idea.
