Anyone tought about using a PDA for a tournament clock?
I don't know if any software is available to do it, but for small tournaments that would actually be pretty cool.
Think one day a version of your software will be available for handhelds Doc?
This idea just came to me as I was looking at my Palm Pilot, it's bigger than one of those button clocks but it's a lot smaller than a lap top... and if you only need to manage blinds, it would probably be easy to do for a good programmer...
Well, just one of my crazy ideas... what do you guys think? |

Theoretically, get the right Java on a laptop and it should work. The only issue might be memory requirements. _________________ --

before TNM, i used my dell axim x50v and a power point presentation to show the blinds. the program i used was shipped with the external VGA adapter cable for my axim. worked fine most of the time, but you can't stop the presentation during the blind levels because the slideshow wouldn't start correctly with the remaining time in this level.
i would appriciate a java version of the DrNeau TNM that would work on windows mobile 2003 (no java installed) or any version to just remote control the tournament manager. |
