Forgive me if these have come up before, but in creating consoles in v3 a couple of ideas occurred to me that might be useful:
1. Copy attributes–it would be nice to be able to copy attributes from one component to the other. Font, font size, foreground & background colour, borders, et al.
2. Default attributes–relatedly, if we could set a default font etc., so that all components added inherit those settings, it would take a lot of repetition out of the design process. |

Follow up to this request.
It may be unnecessary once we can copy attributes, but I sometimes find that I have set up a component perfectly, but it is the wrong component. I'd like to be able to change the reference, while preserving position, formatting, etc.
E.g. I made a new theme last night and all my play & break segments had 'Time to Start of Tournament' where they should have had 'Time in Round' (of course because I created the Pre-tournament console first and then made all the others from copies of that one). It would have been hella easier to just tell that component to link to a different source. |
