Okay,

Time to work on exporting and importing of tournaments.

In v2, there was no exporting of a tournament. That meant people like Martin Ruest (StatsGenie) were left figuring out my tournament datafile.
In v3, the datafile is going to be very hard to understand (due to the addition of the player database...which is actually where player information lives, but anyway), so I need to provide the ability to export the required information about a tournament to a defined format.

Here's what I need to accomplish:

Exporting
- Exporting a tournament to a tournament summary XML file - for use by other programs like StatsGenie, PokerDIY, etc.
- Exporting a tournament to a detailed "transport" XML file - for copying a tournament from one repository to another.

Importing
- Importing a tournament from a detailed "transport" XML file - for copying a tournament from one repository to another.
- Importing a v2 tournament file into a v3 tournament.

The importing will take work...mainly around reconciling users in the "import" tournament with users in the existing player database. Should be fun.

Should be easy enough... so can you also set it up to export/import to an Excel spreadsheet?

That'll be possible though the reporting mechanism. You can print, save to PDF, Excel, etc.

Don't I have a video of that reporting mechanism somewhere? If not, I'll have to make it tonight. It's REALLY cool.
