Recent developments for v3 that will be in the next beta:
- Chip purchase wizard for purchasing buy-ins, add-ons and rebuys. Uniform layout for all.
- Elimination wizard
** Ability to validate logic of history without having to keep history in synch with reality.
** Ability to compare history (once logic validated) to actual data
** Ability to edit actual data (change the buy-in for a player, remove an add-on, etc.) without having to worry about keeping history consistent
** Ability to edit "chip leaders" for a standard tournament. When you buy someone in, add-on or rebuy, their chip totals are automatically updated with the new purchase.
** History event for tracking chip leaders in a standard tournament
** Seating working great
Currently working on:
- Results for a standard tournament. Making it so eliminated players are dropped automatically into the lowest spot, but allowing you to move them around at will if needed (like you might want to for a shootout).
- Generalizing simple and standard results into something cohesive and easier to maintain (this is what I go through with all new functionality now)
- Ensure payouts are distributed a appropriate times based on current results
- Ensuring all functionality stays within the bounds of the license
Still need to:
- Create editors for following history events: buy-in, add-on, rebuy, elimination and chip leaders
- Complete table balancing and consolidation
- Create ability to add history events manually
Beta 3 will focus on ensuring a standard tournament works well
Beta 4 will focus on leagues, rankings and other league stuff
Beta 5 will focus on more console stuff like overlays for all the new functionality _________________ --
