Hi, im not too good with the formula's thing just wondered if someone that is good can type this one out for me:

- You get a point for your position (so if there was 10 players and you finish 1st you would get 10 points, second would get 9 points and so on...)

- You get an extra point for every elimination you make.

many thanks!

this is exactly our formula. the only addition i made was the winner gets his own 'knockout point' as well since, well, no one knocked him out!

I'll see if I can export this formula. Do you want that extra point to the winner option??

You've got a great opportunity to get familiar with the editor by entering it yourself.

There's a thread that walks you though how to enter a formula that's a "sticky" on this board called "Ranking for Rookies"

http://www.drneau.com/BB/viewtopic.php?t=583

In fact, the "core" of your formula is the exact same formula that is used in that example of how to do it.

POINTS = (#ofPlayers + 1) - FinishPosition

Your formula only differs adding a point per elimination,

POINTS = ((#ofPlayers + 1) - FinishPosition) + PlayerKnockoutCount

or... in the editor itself...

***NEVER MIND... I BEAT MY HEAD AGAINST THE WALL A COUPLE TIMES AND IT JUST CAME TO ME***

I only give 1/3 of a point per knockout. How do I edit the formula to automatically do this?
