I run free poker tournaments in sports bars. We play for point and prizes.
TM works great for this. I just label instead of payout I list $= points on the console. It seems to tracking all my participation points(payouts) and my bounty points.
Is it possable if there is anyone else that can use it to give a choice as to what symbol we would like to display. For example a drop down window to choose $ or Points, or no symbol at all?

Not sure not many places you are paying out in points...but you might consider just using the "Fixed Prize" field in the payout schedule. You can put whatever you want in that...

I am using that too. Your program is almost perfect for me. I give particaption points in the percentage amount field, final ten points in fixed amount field, and the prizes the sports bar gives in the other award field.
I just got it figured out. I believe your program will keep all the points accumulated totals from my nightly tourneys for me. I've been doing it on paper and this is a godsend, once I figure out how to do it. I have just joined with you so I'm still learning how to do everything.
I am extremely pleased so far. If I can't change $ to points not a real big deal because no money is used at all so there shouldn't be a conflict It would just be a nice to have. I even found out last night that I can put a professional player bounty on the player that one the last tourney in the players tab. I thought I would have to add that in myself somehow, but nope you had it covered. I give points for particapation, individual bounty, pro player bounty and top ten. Your program tracks it all for me, to change the $ label would just make it look more professional for me. Thanks

You can choose whther or not to "adorn payouts" with a $ symbol. That way your payout console element will show just 100 rather than $100.

Ooops, hang on a moment I mislead you, Adorning refers to whether you want to see 2nd or just 2.

The ability to remove the dollar sign would be a nice feature.

Don't know if this works or not, but the app uses the system currency setting to determine the currency symbol.

I guess you could try changing the symbol from $ to "T".

I would like to see this implemented as soon as possible as well...

We iossue points using the payout algorithym. The ability to remove the dollar sign would eliminate some confustion from our players.

Okay.

What if any fields that had monetary values in them gave you the following options:

a) Use currency for default locale, or
b) Use the following currency symbol: ___

Place the currency symbol to the x) left y) right of the amount

Put a space between the currency symbol and the amount: c) true d) false

??

The first requirement I would add to that list would be:

0.) Display currency symbol (yes/no)

You would just set the currency symbol to a blank string to achieve this.

That would throw left and center justification off.

I would really appreciate the option to assign the currency symbol (or lack of one) manually. I am running a Mac in the UK and I cant change the payouts to £s even when I change the default curency. It must pick it up from somewhere else. It is very annoying having the currency in $s and is the only problem I have with the program.

I have put a thread on the Mac user forum on this BB for 4 months now, result 0 replies. Am I the only Mac user in the UK?

Where is the option to hide/display currency symbol?

I do need to hide the currency symbol. I do use payouts base on points system no cash value.

Thanks,
Eddie
