Just bought my friend's Power Mac G4 Cube for $100.
I can now test on a Mac.
Was that a good price? _________________ --

If I would have known, I could probably have sent you a Mac in return for a lifetime subscription! _________________ 40 |

Some out there would pay that much just for the case so I'd say yes. |

Doc, as part of v3 development, can I ask that you work through the Macintosh forum and test the various unresolved issues reported there?
Thanks. |

welcome to the real world.
if you do get into serious Mac debugging, let us know. there are many little mac-centric quirks in the app that we good guys have just lived with because, though inconvenient and un-mac-like, don't fundimentally affect operations. I'm thinking multiple selection functions, universal drag-and-drop, print interface, resizing, and others that don't flash to me head right now. |

Hmm. A Cube is a bit antiquated. At Macworld when they announced OSX, the people on the floor said the Cube was the bare minimum they would run it on, and that's when the machine was relatively new.
Mac Minis (the successor to the Cube spirit) are very reasonably priced and much improved. _________________ Wherever you go, there you are. |

I don't know how they act on the Mac, but multiple selections have always been a bit quirky in Java even in Windows... at least they have for me anyway. _________________ - Dix |
