In another thread, I talked about the new "Console Configuration Manager" where you'll have your list of Console Layouts, Images, Audio Clips and Console Themes.
There's another aspect to this which I forgot to mention: Chip Designs. I was working on this last night.
In v3, you'll be able to create your own chip designs. The core ones will be there (Ace-Jack, Double Dice, etc.) but you'll be able to create your own as well.
A "Chip Design" is just an ordered set of steps for drawing a chip. For instance, the "Single Dice" design has steps similar to the following for drawing it.
- Circle, Primary Color, diameter = 100%
- Wedges, Secondary Color, starting at 0 degrees, 20 degrees wide, every 60 degrees
- Circle, Primary Color, diameter = 85%
- Circle, Shadow Color, diameter = 80%
- Wedges, Secondary Color, starting at 0 degrees, 15 degrees wide, every 30 degrees
Any chip design that's in the tool right now is just some combination of circles and wedges to get the desired result.
So, for instance, in the "Chip Designs" thread someone asked for me to do the "Royal Flush" chip: http://www.niagarapokersupply.com/product_16143_Roll_25_Count_Black_115g_Clay_Composite_Royal_Flush_Chips_cat_255.html
In v3, you'll be able to create it yourself. What you won't be able to do is put the image of the cards in there, though...at least until I find a way to do that too. _________________ --
