In our last tournament we had a few new players.
One player really sticks in my mind he phoned me and emailed me constantly for the two weeks before seeming really enthusiastic about playing.
Anyway play commences at 10:30am 69 players are seated each with 2000 chips in value, 3 minutes later this bloke comes over to me looking dejected "I've been knowked out he said" just in idle chat it comes out he had gone out with quad 7's (the other bloke had quad A's).
Not detered by this the player waited for a few more players to be knocked out and started up a sit and go table.
This just shows even though we all go into the tournaments to win (in this case) the £800 prize ($1400) a good time can be had by even the unluckiest players.
By the way the player in question was one of the last to leave after being there for 11hrs |
