I think it would be cool to take the player pool that you have set up, select the # of bounties you want and then have the system pick 5 or how many people at random.

I think it would also be great to be able to place a check mark next to somoene's name and have them set up as a bounty.

This way when someone gets the bounty the system tracks it.

As it is now I'm going to pick 5 people randomly in my tourney Saturday and when they get knocked out, pay the person $5 who knocked them out.

Sounds intresting......but how many users out there would really use it??? I personally only set bountys on the prior money winners.......so there is incentive to take them out......

But how do you tell the system to set the bounty on the prior money winnners?

If there is a way to do that then there should be a way to do it either way, correct?

Man, I suppose next you'll want to have bounties on whomever is wearing purple boxers...and the tool should analyze the room to automatically sense who's wearing them.

C'mon man. You don't really need the tool to know who won previous tournaments, do you?

No, it wasn't to keep track of previous tourney winners. More of a way to manually enter in 5 (or x) amount of people and set a bounty on them.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding...but if you want to put a bounty on anyone, you just go to the players tab and put a value in their bounty field...

When someone eliminates a player with a bounty on them, the system tracks it.

This is all there now.

I won't be adding a "random player bounty selection". While it's easy enough to do, I don't think it is a popular enough feature to warrant implementation. There's plenty of ways you can pick people randomly without needing the tool to do it.

Well, I had no clue there was a bounty spot in there.

Thanks for pointing that out.

One thing I would like though is that when you have a bounty on someone and they get eliminated then the bounty should reset to 0.

i.e. Joe Smith has a $5 bounty, he gets eliminated it goes to 0. He re-buys and gets eliminated again, the person who eliminates him the second time should not get the bounty for him.

Make sense?

Thanks

Josh

That's where the selection to
- Pay bounty on all eliminations
- Pay bounty on only final eliminations
- Pay bounty on only first eliminations

comes into play.

Note that right now, it pays all no matter what you select. I still need to implement the logic to do the second two bullets.
