Well….I sat down at my first ring game today….(yeah I know, being in Vegas it was a long time coming)…….my folks happened to be in town and my Dad wanted to give it a shot (along with my Mom) so they took lessons in the morning then played it the afternoon……..to keep it short…in 3 hours Dad dropped $170…..Mom lost $3 (and she had no clue what she was doing)…..and I won $129…… one girl lost with A’s over Q’s boat to 4 Q’s……(she does have a shot at the ‘bad beat jackpot’ for the week at the Silverton)….all this at a 2-4 limit table……..I feel pretty good about my performance….but this could get addictive with the casino only 3 miles from the house……They are suppose to be getting together some tourneys in the next few weeks (the room only opened 2 weeks ago and some of the dealers were really green)…….but it was a nice table (personality wise) to play with (especially with a couple of novices playing….)
