A 5-6 Unsuited?

I had a guy stay in until the river with a 4-5 unsuited.

I raised $3 before the flop with A-Ks in a .50/1 game. This guy calls.

Flop comes K-3-9. I raise $5 into a $7.50 pot. Everyone folds and jackass calls.

Turn shows Ace. I bet $10. Jackass calls.

River comes with a 2. I check. He raises to $5. I call.

I lose with AA-KK. Jackass chased with nothing and caught a 5 high straight on the river.

I hate this game.
